General Information And Care

All my ceramics are hand-made in my studio in Colorado. I do not make large batches of identical items. Ceramic and glaze or finish irregularities and/or variances reflect the many human touches received during the making process. Nothing about handmade pottery will look or feel like anything purchased at retail stores. These are the additional values of any handmade process and should be embraced as an intrinsic characteristic of my handmade pieces. All my glaze-ware pottery is food-safe and can be safely used in microwave and dishwashers. Sudden changes in temperature (eg. from freezer to oven) is likely to cause thermal shock, which may create fissures in the glaze or cracks in the clay body. Dishwasher may accelerate the fading of a luster glaze, hand washing is recommended for these type of ceramic surfaces. Raku, Saggar, Horsehair and Memorial pottery requires special care. Please see care instructions in listings. These pieces are art and not functional in the since that they are not food safe and not meant to hold food or water. The memorial pieces can hold water IF you chose to have them made with a (clear) glaze

Shipping Cost

We tried to keep the shipping cost as low as possible, but need to ship Fedex Ground to insure the most gental service. Please note that an order of multiple pieces has shipping calculated together however for the safety of the pieces, which can not be replaced, I may opt to ship each piece separately which will require extra shipping charges, if this is the case I will notify  you by email prior to shipping your pieces.

Shipping Procedures

I will pack your ceramic with great care. Once your payment has been received, items will be shipped within four working day (or more for large orders). E-shop Images And Descriptions

All items for sale are described and photographed as accurately as possible, however due to the different monitor settings, the real glaze color could  be different from what you see on your computer screen. If you need any further clarification please contact me before ordering. When I measure the piece I try to be as accurate as possible however because its handmade and shape is not always easy to measure I will be with in 1/2".

Insurance Claims for Pieces Damaged by Shipping Company

I take great care in packaging my ceramics as safely as possible. Each piece is insured for it's replacement value.

In the rare and unfortunate event where an item arrives to you damaged by the shipping company, please contact me within 24 hours of the receipt of the goods for immediate instructions which will include retaining all pieces and packaging material to make the claim. FedEx will not pay out a claim with out this. You will be required to send photos to me as well as the carrier. Failure to comply with these and FedEx request to inspect or pick up item and all packaging materials will cause you to forfeit your refund. Please  send your order number, exact items/quantities and photos of the item(s) damaged asap after we talk on the phone. We DO NOT process claims without photos clearly showing the damage and packing materials to prove to shipper it was packaged correctly. Upon your claim being approved a refund will be issued. Depending on shippers insurance requirements you may be asked to send back or have broken item picked up.

Return,  Exchange, Cancellations

As all my pieces are one of a kind so I don't do exchanges. Special orders require a 50% deposit that is not refundable once I start working on the piece. Because we only do one of a kind pieces, and it is taken off line once purchased and because I  promptly begin packing your order within hours of its placement, I can’t accept returns or order cancellation unless its with in an hour of your purchase and you contact me via email.
